4:30 p.m. Rock This Town Encore

        • Princess Cinemas, 46 King St. N, Waterloo

        • Rock This Town brings to life the exciting history of rock music concerts in KW from the 1960s & ‘70s. An insider’s look into the gritty reality of building the local live music scene. This 70-minute documentary features interviews with music business pros plus performances by today’s musicians. Rock stars come and go but live music is here to stay!

        • The film was produced by Betty Anne Keller (BA 1969), who will join us for an exclusive post-screening chat

        • Tickets must be purchased separately. Terry Boutiliers has purchased a number of extra tickets for the class. Please contact him directly before buying tickets. Additional tickets may also be purchased directly from the theatre.

        • Huether Hotel, 59 King Street N, Waterloo

        • After the movie, stop at an old haunt, now the Lion’s Brewery Outpost, and grab a drink and/or quick bite before heading to the Grad House.

        7 p.m. Grad House gathering

        • Jump on the ION Light Rail Train, and head to the University of Waterloo (Grad House) – only two stops but well worth the experience. Then join your class for a reunion favourite, with our own Gord Knox as Emcee. Bring your stories and Waterloo artifacts/memorabilia. Get your Plan ’74 yellow and blue leather jackets out of the closet. (Wonder if David still has his “bring-the-house-down showstopper” (now 50 years old) in his jacket pocket from his evenings at the Huether?)
