Though we can’t know for sure, at this moment Anders Morley is most likely on skis, or in a tent, somewhere in the British Columbia interior. In November 2012 Morley embarked on trip that takes the concept of cross-country skiing to a literal extreme. This winter he plans to ski from British Columbia to eastern Ontario in a project he calls, Big Ski.
Any member of the Faculty of Environment is welcome to attend this thesis defence, which provides an insight into current research activities within the Waterloo-Laurier Graduate Program in Geography.
The Ph.D. student colloquium "Geography Without Borders" will showcase the research of the new cohort of Ph.D. students of the joint Waterloo-Laurier graduate program in Geography in a casual atmosphere. You are invited to attend the colloquium's three sessions on "Food and Activism", "Climate Change", and "Transportation and Pedestrians."
