Plans for our Data Management event, Research Data Management @ University of Waterloo 2013, are underway at the Library. This will be the second annual DM event at the University of Waterloo, which will entail a morning of lively presentations from researchers across various fields of study, and at different stages of data storage planning. The morning’s events will explore the unique issues facing researchers today as they decide where, how, and what data to store.

The Department of Geography and Environmental Management is very pleased to welcome retired astronaut Chris Hadfield to the University of Waterloo as a Professor of Aviation. The University's Aviation program is run jointly by the Department of Geography and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Science.
