This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Fun Run. While there have been many changes over the years, this event still remains a favourite among alumni and the UWaterloo community. Despite current circumstances, we still want to bring you a fun opportunity to be active, show off your Waterloo pride, and connect with the UWaterloo community. So, for the first time ever, our Fun Run will be happening virtually! We invite alumni and all community members to participate in our Virtual Fun Run anytime from September 19 to 12 p.m.

It is enabling us to anticipate with unprecedented accuracy the spread of a virus, the mutation of a disease and the effectiveness of a drug. It is enabling us to discover new medicines faster, to improve the precision of delicate surgeries and to create smart medical devices that save lives. And it is helping us analyze massive amounts of data to make smarter decisions about the use of limited resources.
