IEW - Request for Funding

To help promote participation in International Education Week (IEW), Waterloo International is pleased to announce that it will provide some funding to support IEW events. Interested hosts can apply to receive up to $200 to support their proposed activity. Up to five applicants will be selected for the award.

The deadline for submissions is Friday October 20, 2023 at noon.

All applicants will be notified by Friday October 27, 2023.

Please note, all funds must be used directly to support the event.

Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:

To what extent does this event or activity have internationalization at the University of Waterloo as a focus?
To what extent will this event or activity have a positive impact upon the University of Waterloo community?
To what extent will the resources awarded be used efficiently and sustainably?

Waterloo International’s Manager, International Funding Opportunities and Associate Director, Operations, will evaluate the applications and make decisions on funding.
