Kinesiology Graduate Student Association (KGSA)

The University of Waterloo Kinesiology Graduate Student Association (KGSA) is a nonprofit organization which represents four academic streams (Biomechanics, Physiology and Nutrition, Neuroscience, and the Coursework Master's program) within the Department of Kinesiology. The KGSA executive speaks on behalf of these students in department, Faculty and university-wide councils. A primary goal is to enhance the experience of our graduate students through social and recreational events.

Governance

The KGSA is a small part of the university-wide Graduate Student Association. Each year a new KGSA executive is elected at an annual general meeting held in late April. KGSA executives meet once a month to discuss and vote on positions relating to current events within departmental/faculty/university administration levels.

Details on executive member roles and voting requirements are noted in the KGSA constitution.
