With sadness, the Department of Kinesiology announces the passing of retiree David Northey on September 11, 2017. Northey joined the University as staff in October 1989 and retired in July 2014 as a Lab Technician in Kinesiology.
An avid runner, Dave won numerous cross-country and track races while a student at the University of Waterloo, winning individual and team OUAA Championships. He was also named Most Valuable Athlete in 1970 for the University of Waterloo.
