PhD thesis proposal

The purpose of the thesis proposal is to provide the student with an opportunity to present their thesis topic to their advisory committee and receive feedback. The group will discuss the student's knowledge of issues (i.e., knowledge of literature, measurement techniques, analytic procedures), directly related to their thesis topic.

The scheduling of the proposal will be done by the student, in consultation with the supervisor and the advisory committee. The thesis proposal should be no longer than 1.5 hours. The thesis proposal will take place in term 5 or 6 for PhD students.

The Kinesiology and Health Sciences Grad Office must be notified two weeks prior to the thesis proposal examination.

For all forms and regulations, please see the Kinesiology Graduate Community on MS Teams or LEARN.
