Biography

Tamara Maciel is the Program Director for the School of Anatomy, within the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Maciel holds a master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy and is passionate about anatomical education. Maciel is a recipient of the Faculty of Health Teaching Award and served for three years as the Kinesiology and Health Sciences Teaching Fellow.

Research

Maciel supports a variety of researchers who collaborate with the School of Anatomy. In 2025, Maciel was awarded a Learning Innovation and Teaching Enhancement (LITE) Seed Grant for research investigating “A comparison of Immediate Feedback in Group-Stage Testing.
