Teams Pink and Gold were out of this world, and all the players were at peak performance. Have any photos you'd like to share? Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org to have them included on this page.
History of the cup
This fun and entertaining fund-raising hockey game began in 2007 to commemorate our colleague and mentor who died after a courageous battle with cancer. Professor Aftab Patla was a professor of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo for 25 years with a research interest in health, aging and human movement.
This year Team Pink and Team Gold pulled out all the stops to deliver heart-pumping jaw-dropping action, fun, and excitement.
Tensions were high for the puck drop, the start of a great game!
Unfortunately, some of the faculty couldn't keep it clean. The ref had to make an example of Dr. McIlroy.
Congratulations to teams Pink and Gold for a great game!
New for 2017
There was be a hockey draft for players on Wednesday March 22 at 3:00 pm in AHS 1686. At the draft all registered players were chosen to play for either the pink or gold team. It was great to see everyone at the draft, glad you made it out to support your favourite player!
