Extended hours during exams

Davis Centre Library hours

Starting Sunday July 23, Davis Centre Library will be open 24 hours, except for closing 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Sundays. These extended hours will end at 12:00 AM on Friday August 11.

All services will close daily at 12:00 AM. Attendants will be present at Davis Centre Library for security purposes and to monitor for noise, cell phone use and hot foods - which are not permitted in the Library.

Dana Porter Library will be open regular hours.

Library staff care for the United Way

The United Way’s annual Day of Caring is an experience that goes beyond fundraising, giving volunteers a hands-on connection to the work done by the organization. Over 100 volunteers across Waterloo Region took part in 15 projects aiding United Way-sponsored programs. Money can’t buy everything, and sometimes a project just needs a few extra helping hands to get the job done.

UWSpace uploads 500th article

The University of Waterloo's institutional repository, UWSpace, has just uploaded its 500^th article. This Library service was created to host the publications of Waterloo faculty, students and staff. Building on the success of our electronic theses and dissertations deposits, UWSpace now provides researchers with a free, secure and long-term platform for the presentation, dissemination and preservation of their research and scholarship.
