New digital exhibit : Guildwood Village

Special Collections & Archives is pleased to announce a new digital exhibit: Guildwood Village. We invite you to take a stroll through the Toronto neighborhood that was once the home to the Guild of All Arts, an artist housing ground created by Rosa and Spencer Clark. Tahreem Farooqi, 3rd year Planning student at Waterloo, curated the exhibit using material from our Breithaupt Hewetson Clark collection.

New exhibit : Pulp Fiction

There’s no fiction like pulp fiction, so they say, and Special Collections & Archives is out to prove that.

Come and see our latest exhibit showcasing some of our best pulp magazines and novels, primarily from the mid 20^th century.

Be it rocket ships, LGBTQ2S+ romance, Tarzan, thrillers, or whatever your interest, there is sure to be a book to titillate everyone.

Come and see what inspires you, and perhaps find something to pick up for this weekend’s beach read!

New exhibit : Donor Appreciation

We couldn’t do it without them! Our donors make it possible for us to continue to grow our collections and contribute to the research and scholarship of the university. Join us in celebrating them with our new exhibit showcasing items from the collections of those who make it all possible. From medicines of the 1910’s to polka music of the 1970’s, spirit trumpets to mortarboards, something from the interesting and varied lives of those in our community is sure to pique your interest.
