Special Collections & Archives is pleased to announce the launch of an exhibit showcasing the works of Western author Bertha Muzzy. Beginning in 1905, with her series set at the Flying U ranch, and writing under the pseudonym B.M. Bower, Muzzy wrote short stories and novels, and collaborated on screenplays for early Hollywood westerns.
Saddle up and gallop to the Doris Lewis Rare Book Room on the first floor of Dana Porter Library before June 30th!
Our thanks go to Jessica Smelko, Liaison Librarian, English, Drama and Speech Communication, and Fine Arts for co-curating this exhibit with us.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
