“Books as muse” is the theme of the new exhibit at Special Collections & Archives featuring works from Tara Cooper’s FINE 230 printmaking class. Far from the world of historical essays, the print works on display were inspired by items in our holdings and reflect the diverse nature of our collections. The prints run the gamut from fairy tales and dance tracts to extinct birds and trans zines, and everything in-between. While the exhibit will be on display until March 2018, why not take a break from day dreaming about your winter vacation and come see it now?

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
