This course will address how organizations integrate technology and business strategy; the design and evolution of technology strategy; how to use various tools to evaluate the innovative environment internal to and external to a firm; how firms develop their innovative capabilities; the creation and implementation of systems for innovation; and the decision a firm will take when undertaking innovation. Students will further have the opportunity to consider emerging sustainable innovation concepts. The course seeks to understand innovation both from an organizational and learning process perspective.
