Biography Summary

Olga Vechtomova is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, and is cross-appointed in the School of Computer Science. She is also the Associate Dean for Engineering Computing.

Her expertise is in the areas of natural language processing (NLP) and information retrieval (IR). Dr. Vechtomova's research group is designing deep neural network architectures for a variety of natural language understanding, natural language generation and information retrieval tasks. The group's current and recent projects include sentiment analysis, controlled text generation, textual style transfer, and neural task-based information retrieval.
