All University of Waterloo students are welcome to attend Vocal Techniques. The class will be limited to 25 students with priority given to students enrolled in music studio courses (individual lessons) and those enrolled in an ensemble course for credit.
A short interview/audition will take place on Wednesday, September 4. Music students will meet at 7pm, non-music students at 7:30pm. Sign-up is online: uwaterloo.ca/music/ensembles
Registration:
If you are taking Vocal Techniques for .25 credit, you are encouraged to register for ensemble participation on your course schedule through Quest (Music 116 if this is your first time registering for credit).
Class Times:
Vocal Techniques meets Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00pm in room 1208.
First Class: Wednesday, September 11
Attendance Policy:
- Attendance is required at all classes, whether you are taking the course for credit or not.
- Please contact the instructor via email if you must be absent stephanie.kramer@uwaterloo.ca .
- If you are taking this ensemble for credit, you must attend all classes (you may be allowed two excused absences for sickness or a midterm without jeopardy to your credit).
Musical development:
In order to develop your musical skills, it helps to attend concerts and listen to others sing and play.
