New Special Topics course in World Music offered Winter 2017

New this winter 2017 term is a special topics course in world music: Introduction to Bali, music and culture (see course description below).  Students can register for this course as Music 392 after contacting the music department for a course override.  All welcome to take this course.

Course Description: A hands-on seminar in which you are introduced to the musical styles of Bali, Indonesia. You will have the opportunity to play on
Balinese instruments and learn important aspects of the culture.

This course meets the requirement for the Music in Global Context Specialization within the Honours Music program.
