Dr. Hrynchak is a Waterloo alumnus (OD 1983) and a graduate of the University of Toronto, (MScCH 2014) in Health Practitioner Teacher Education. She was first appointed in the School of Optometry and Vision Science as a Clinical Supervisor in 1987 and is now a Clinical Professor.
Dr. Hrynchak has been a teaching fellow for the School of Optometry and Vision Science since September 2016. She has been recognized four times by the School of Optometry and Vision Science with a Distinguished Teaching Award and was one of the 2014 Excellence in Science Teaching Awardees.
