Using the Crestron projector

What to know before using the projector:

  • The course instructor or TAs who will be giving the lecture should be located in Room 1004.  

  • Students in Room 1008 will see both the instructor and the DocCam/PC. 

  • Students in Room 1012 will only see the DocCam/PC. 

  • Students in Room 1008 and 1012 will not be able to use their microphones to interact with the instructor in 1004. The instructor can: 

    • Enable a chat software for the entire class such as MS Teams. The instructor can ask a TA in 1004 to interrupt when a question comes up in the chat software.

The Crestron projector can be used in two modes. Local projecting mode, which projects only to the room the instructor is in, and Overflow mode, which projects to multiple rooms. For more information on how to select and use these modes:
