About the Alumni Mentorship Program

A KPMG Women’s Leadership Study identified confidence building, leadership training, and the ability to network with women leaders as the key elements to expanding women’s leadership opportunities. Our unique program will provide these career-building opportunities for alumni, helping you build on both your educational foundation and your real-world experience in the workforce. You understand the world in which you’re working. You see yourself in a leadership role. Now we want to help you reach those goals. Spaces are limited for the program at this time. As a participant, you will be connected with mentors specifically chosen to help you meet your goals.

Applications are now open for the 2024 Women in Pharmacy Leadership Alumni Mentorship Program.

The program is open to alumni who:

We recognize that the gender gap is even wider for BIPOC and members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. We acknowledge the additional challenges faced by people in these communities and encourage them to apply to the program.

Why Apply?

Mentees get access to an exclusive program designed to help move them toward leadership goals. In particular, the program includes:

  • one-on-one mentorship with a senior professional

  • a guided experience catered to your interests and needs

  • guaranteed tickets to all WIPL workshops and events (see below)

  • participation in an online network of program participants with access to shared resources, discussions and ongoing connection

  • a positive and rewarding learning experience for both the mentee and the mentor

  • there is no cost to participating in the program; it is made possible with the support of generous donors

The structure of the mentor-mentee relationship will be catered to the needs of the participants; there is no set schedule for regular meetings with your mentor. However, we will provide initial training and guidance to participants to establish appropriate expectations for the relationship, and touchpoints throughout the year to stimulate discussion and connection.
