Call us 24 hours/day to report urgent maintenance issues.

For non-urgent issues, email details to pltops.maintenance@uwaterloo.ca. Provide the building and room number in the subject and a thorough description of the problem in the body of the email.

  1. May 21, 2020Restricted Access - Engineering 2 & Engineering 3 - Effective Until Further Notice

    What is happening? Engineering 2, Engineering 3 and the connection to Carl Pollock Hall will have restricted access and be put into limited hours of operation as follows:

    All entrances will be locked.  The entrance doors at the north end of E3 (facing toward Davis Centre) will be the only designated entrance.

    These buildings will only be open between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Anyone accessing the building during these hours will be required to sign-in and sign-out.

    The fire alarm system requires emergency repair and will be offline. Plant Operations personnel will be providing in-person fire watch during these hours.

    When is this happening? These access restrictions are effective immediately, until further notice.

  2. May 14, 2020Service Interruption - Electricity - Math & Computer - May 28

    What is happening? Electricity will be shut off in Math & Computer due to repairs.

    When is this happening? Electricity will be off Thursday May 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

  3. May 14, 2020Service Interruption - Electricity - Mackenzie King Village - May 26

    What is happening? Electricity will be shut off in Mackenzie King Village to remove a temporary hydro meter.

    When is this happening? Electricity will be off Tuesday May 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
