Design & Construction

Design staff are working from home, and with few exceptions, will continue to work on design projects where access to the project site is not required.

Projects designed by external consultants will proceed provided the work can continue without access to the project location. Note, all of our external consultant partners have confirmed that they are working from home until further notice.

Construction services performed by external contractors will continue based on the following criteria:

  1. Projects with critical timelines
  2. Projects with life safety implications
  3. Projects that can be managed without significant contact with UW staff and have a construction entrance in close proximity to the project site

All other construction projects will be postponed.
