For non-urgent issues, email details to pltops.maintenance@uwaterloo.ca. Provide the building and room number in the subject and a thorough description of the problem in the body of the email.

  1. June 1, 2018Road Closure - Minota Hagey Residence - June 4

    What is happening? The exit road and sidewalk from Ring Rd. to University Ave. near Minota Hagey Residence will be closed for water main construction

    When is this happening? The road will be closed on Monday June 4 for approximately 6 weeks.

  2. May 31, 2018Elevator Shutdown - Biology 1 - June 4

    What is happening? The elevator will be out of service in Biology 1 for maintenance.

    When is this happening? The elevator will be unavailable from Monday June 4 at 7:00 a.m. until Monday July 16 at 4:00 p.m.

  3. May 31, 2018Designated Substance Assessments - June 15

    What is happening? The Safety Office in conjunction with Plant Operations will be conducting designated substance assessments to several University buildings. They require access to all rooms. Inspections will be conducted by Pinchin Environmental LTD. The building affected are: Douglas Wright Engineering Building, Earth Sciences & Chemistry, Engineering 3, General Services Complex, J.G. Hagey Hall of the Humanities, Modern Languages, and Physics.
