Provost’s Advisory Committee on Building a Resilient University of Waterloo

The University of Waterloo is focused on maintaining a vibrant and thriving campus. This has been our commitment to the community since our founding and continues to guide us toward achieving our vision of Waterloo at 100.

As a University, we operate on the cutting edge, where transformational change often happens quickly. In order to meet the new challenges and needs of society with curiosity, courage, engagement, and strength – the core values of our institution – we must be agile and resilient. After a long period of growth and diversification, we are now looking to the next stage of transformation and how to address the organization, planning, and operational features needed to accomplish the Waterloo at 100 strategic goals.

To that end, in May 2022, the Provost’s Advisory Committee on Building a Resilient University of Waterloo was commissioned. The scope of work for the Provost’s Advisory Committee (PAC) was outlined in the Terms of Reference, and was comprised of leaders from broad portfolios who have insights on the policies, guidelines, and procedures in key capacities at the University.
