AMTD postdoctoral fellow joins SPHS
Dr. Juyeon Lee, who will be joining the School of Public Health Sciences in January, is one of four 2023 AMTD Waterloo Global Talent Postdoctoral Fellowship recipients.
Lee completed her PhD in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto this year. Her research focuses on health and safety consequences related to digital labour platforms for domestic workers engaged in caregiving tasks.
The fellowship program offers talented and impactful scholars from across the globe the opportunity to accelerate their careers in research for the betterment of society, and provides the postdoctoral scholars with an annual salary of $75,000.
Previous Faculty of Health AMTD postdoctoral fellows include Dr. Samantha Kaitlyn Patterson, who joined us in 2022, and Oluwakemi Amodu, who joined us in 2020.
