Professor Sue Horton has been appointed a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences for her significant contributions in the field of health economics.
Her presentation at the 2008 Copenhagen Consensus and her book estimating the global cost of scaling up nutrition programs, were influential in prioritizing nutrition in the international policy agenda.
She serves as chair of global health economics at the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
Induction into the CAHS as a Fellow is considered one of the highest honours within Canada’s academic community.
