HLTH 473 - Digital Health 

Digital health advancements are changing how we deliver heatlthcare and how we develop public health initiatives globally. In this course, you will get the opportunity to experience the use of cutting-edge digital health solutions, with important discussions around artificial intelligence, ethics, big data, cloud computing, and loT-based public health surveillance. You will have the opportunity to have important discussions about the major challenges associated with the usage of these technologies in healthcare and public health. 

Students may use this course to count for:

  • Capstone (Public Health Students)
  • Additional 300- or 400-level course (Public Health Students)
  • Free elective

SPHS students  can also double count this course as ONE of the following:

  • 4-th year seminar for Pre-Clinical Specialization
  • 4-th year seminar for Health Research Specialization
  • One of two of advanced Health Informatics restricted elective
