Research interests

My current research focuses on economic aspects of global health. This includes cost-effectiveness, cost and prioritization of interventions of many kinds. I specialize in diagnostics, cancer, micronutrients, undernutrition, the double-burden of nutrition and a wide range of other interventions. I am currently deputy chair of the Lancet Commission on Diagnostics which aims to report in summer 2021.
