Grenada

Can a small island state be sustainable? Professor Simron Singh and research student Allison Elgie think so.

Food waste
Food waste has become an increasingly discussed topic. Sustainability management graduate student Sohani Withanage and Professors Goretty Dias and Komal Habib have a new article.

How can we pursue sustainable cities in a cost effective way? In collaboration with Stephanie Cairns from the Smart Prosperity Institute, PhD student Ying Zhou and Professor Amelia Clarke have a new book chapter. This is based on Ying Zhou’s Master’s thesis, which she completed through SEED’s MES in Sustainability Management.

Other than waste management, what benefits can recycling provide? Professor Steven Young worked with PhD student Alex Cimprich and Bertrand Laratte and Jair Santillan-Saldivar, both visiting scholars to SEED in 2019 from University of Bordeaux.
