SEED doctoral student receives prestigious Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship

Guneet Sandhu, a PhD student in SEED’s Sustainability Management program, has been awarded the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship – Doctoral (CGS D) by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The three year award (May 2021- May 2024) is valued at $35,000 per year, making it one of Canada’s top doctoral scholarships. The national-level scholarship is targeted to high-calibre PhD students at Canadian universities based on research ability and potential, and achievements and experience within and outside academia. Guneet is a second year PhD student pursuing research on interdisciplinary water risk management under the supervision of Prof. Olaf Weber.
