Professor Steven Young represents SEED at the 11th Global MDP Summit

The School of Environment, Enterprise and Development was represented by Profesor Steven Young at the annual Master of Development Practice meeting of institutions – the 11thGlobal MDP Summit, June 11th-16th2019.

This year the summit was hosted by TERI School for Advanced Studies in the scorching, record breaking heat of 48°C on June 10th in New Delhi. In addition to climate change action (SDG #13), the full slate of Sustainable Development Goals were discussed in the context of advancing the MDP – the leading masters program in applied sustainable development. Representatives from the 35 MDP programs around the world attended, with a balance of attendance from Global South and Global North university members. Local content facilitated by TERI was provided by instructors, employers, current students and graduate alumni – covering all three sectors of business, government and civil society actors.
