A warm SEED welcome to Beth Eden, SDSN's new Network Coordinator!

SEED is very happy to have a newcomer join the team! Beth Eden is SDSN Canada’s new Youth Network Coordinator for the 2019-2020 academic year.

In this position, Beth will focus on engaging students at SDSN Canada member campuses to take action and pioneer solutions that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Beth will also lead SDG themed local projects and campaigns, enable local SDG hubs, and oversee the success of the SDG Campus Coordinators program.

SDG Goals

Beth is an Environment and Business student of the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. She is passionate about developing an interdisciplinary understanding of sustainability and co-founded the Impact Alliance at the University in early 2019, a network of student clubs and leaders coming together to advance economic, social and environmental sustainability on campus. Beth’s previous work includes being the National President of World Merit Canada, a Finalist for World Merit’s Global Ambassador Competition and Action Plan Executor for SDG 13 – Climate Action, and winner of the ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Social Enterprise Award for the Solutions for the Planet’ competition, presenting at the Houses of Parliament in the United Kingdom. She currently sits on the Sustainability Advisory Committee for the City of Waterloo.
