Main accountabilities:

• Acts as the central resource regarding graduate policies, procedures and academic processes for the PhD in Accounting program including advising  students on guidelines, deadlines, changes, milestones, proposal, thesis requirements, convocation, etc. in accordance with University policies and procedures.
• Coordinates all aspects of the PhD in Accounting program including budget, scholarship, student payments, comprehensive exams, proposals, thesis presentations.
• Coordinates and assists with all aspects of the Centre for Accounting Ethics’ finances and activities.
• Arranges and organizes conferences and workshops for the school’s research centres, seminars, and other events, on and off-site, including building budgets and monitoring expenses.
• Acts as the main point of contact for SAF faculty and external speakers for the weekly research seminar series including arrangements for speakers and their schedules.   
• Arranges and organizes retirements, SAF social events, and other events/conferences as required by SAF.
