I’m Noah, and I am always looking to take on new challenges that develop my skills. I believe that case competitions are the best way to have an exciting challenge while working with your peers and representing your school. Every time I attend a competition I feel like I have learned so much as it really challenges you to take what you have learned in the classroom and go beyond that to be creative and come up with a solution to a real problem.

I’m interested in how technology impacts different industries, and that paired with with my interest in strategy consulting made the IBM Technology Case Competition the perfect opportunity for me.

"For those who are interested in business strategy and technology, the IBM Technology Consulting Competition is second to none. I had the opportunity to combine two of my passions and develop a creative solution all while meeting industry leaders and like-minded individuals."

My experiences on campus with the Student Venture Fund and ACE Consulting Group allowed me gain practical consulting experience and exposure to new technologies so I was well prepared for the competition. Working with other like-minded students from the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) was an invaluable experience as I was able to gain new insights and perspectives. SAF supporting and encouraging their students to attend these competitions is a massive advantage for your career as you are able to gain useful technical and durable (soft) skills while making valuable connections that can lead to career opportunities in the future.
