Happy Holidays from the School of Accounting and Finance!

Students outside Dana Porter Library

As we conclude the year, 2020 has been a challenging one for everyone and in particular, for our new and current students adjusting to a remote learning environment, our graduating students from undergraduate and MAcc classes. The impact of the global pandemic was not what anyone had expected, but our students, grads, faculty and staff have been resilient and made the best of it.  Our students, faculty and programs effectively moved to a virtual environment, our fall term enrollment is up by 10% and co-op employment remaining stable given the circumstances of our economy.

This Holiday Season, we celebrate together as the SAF family of alumni, faculty, staff and students and we wish you and your family a safe, healthy, and happy holiday from all of us at the School of Accounting and Finance, University of Waterloo. We hope your holiday season is filled with joy and laughter, however you may celebrate. We look forward to a New Year in 2021 and wish you all the best.

We are so grateful for the commitment of the SAF community, shown through all of the support to the School that we see every year from our alumni.  This year, we wanted to provide you with an opportunity to help our students and our School, found through the links below.  Thank you to those who have done so already. Thank you also to those who volunteer time for our students in a variety of programs and on our committees, and for being global advocates for the University and a proud SAF Alum.

If you want to speak with us, please let Sheilaah Guthrie, Associate Director of Advancement know, and we look forward to connecting.

Please also ensure that your contact information is updated and you follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and join our Linkedin group, to keep in touch with us – we are all part of the SAF Global Family!!
