SAF faculty pose with their MAS awards.

The Management Accounting Section (MAS) is designed to stimulate and improve the teaching of, research in, and practice of accounting by fostering development, testing and discussion of methods and materials, as well as course offerings.

MAS encourages and supports new scholars and educators to increase opportunities for the interchange of ideas among members of the academic and professional community and to encourage accounting students to pursue careers in management accounting by enhancing their knowledge of the activities, responsibilities and opportunities offered.

The 2024 MAS midyear meeting was held in Florida on January 4-6 and several School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) faculty members were in attendance.
