Achim Kempf

Biography

Dr. Kempf was an undergraduate at the University of Heidelberg (Germany's oldest), and he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Munich. He was a postdoc and a College Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at Cambridge University and he was a postdoc at the Institute for Fundamental Theory at University of Florida. He has been Canada Research Chair for the Physics of Information for 10 years, a University Research Chair for seven years and has been co-chair of the International Society for Relativistic Quantum Information for five years. He is also an associate member of the Institute for quantum computing and an associate member of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.
