Biography
Aubrey is Head of Canadian Fixed Income (FI), Guardian Capital LP (Guardian). He is responsible for managing over $8 billion in Canadian FI assets across a range of mandates for the firm’s Fixed Income Institutional and Retail clients.
Aubrey began his career in the financial services industry in 1990. From 2005 onwards, and directly prior to joining Guardian, Aubrey worked at Blackrock/Barclays Global Investments (BGI) in both San Francisco and Toronto in the role of Managing Director, Head of Canadian Fixed Income Investment. Prior to joining BGI, Aubrey spent six years with the Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan Board as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager.
He currently serves on the Board for the Municipal Employer Pension Centre of Ontario (MEPCO).
Aubrey graduated with a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He earned his MBA from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management.
