Dr. Sylvia Findlay holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership Administration from Illinois State University and an MBA from Bradley University. Prior to joining the Stratford School, she served as the Program Director for the MBA program at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University and was previously a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Crandall University, where she chaired the International Business Management program.
She has taught courses in Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, Strategic Decision-Making, International Business Management, and Managing Diversity in Organizations, and has developed curriculum for multiple courses and programs, including competency mapping for cybersecurity workforce development while serving as Assessment Coordinator for an NSA-funded program at the University of Louisville. In addition to several roles in academic administration, her professional background includes roles in the International Public Affairs division at Pfizer, and at Frost & Sullivan, where she led market research initiatives and managed multicultural teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
