Reflecting on Zero Waste Week 2018

During the week of October 15-19, the University of Waterloo celebrated Zero Waste Week, with support from the Sustainability Office and Plant Operations to bring challenges and activities to employees and students across campus.

A message from President Feridun Hamdullahpur to all students, staff, and faculty:

I am pleased to share the University of Waterloo’s 2016 Environmental Sustainability Report.

Each year, Waterloo publishes a summary of the actions that students, staff and faculty have taken across campus to reduce our environmental impact. From new research projects to student events to ongoing changes to policy and practice, it is inspiring to see the dedication and involvement of so many people in our University community.

Starting March 6th, the Region of Waterloo is changing the way that waste is collected. To ensure your garbage is collected properly and to keep our community and neighbourhoods clean, please review the following information.
