Women’s pelvic floor disorders: half of all women will suffer from them and little is said about this silent epidemic. How breakthroughs in technology are making a difference.
Significant strides have been made in our society’s willingness to discuss once taboo health topics such as mental health, breast cancer, and prostate cancer. So why still the stigma associated with talking about women’s pelvic floor issues, to the point where there are limited to no effective and modern treatments available to the many women who suffer in silence?
