Student Awards & Financial Aid will confirm your enrolment on your OSAP account and release your funding. This process begins approximately one week before classes start. Your OSAP funding may be applied to your student account and/or issued to you as early as the first few weeks of May, and confirmations will continue regularly throughout the term.
What can I do to make sure I receive my funding at the start of the term?
- Upload all required OSAP documentation
Due to the high volume of new applications, please allow 2–3 weeks for documents to be processed. - Complete a Promissory Note (if applicable)
If you have not paid your fees in full, submit a Promissory Note to indicate that you will be using OSAP funding to pay your fees. When completing the Promissory Note, you must provide proof of payment or funding for any amount not covered by OSAP. Spring 2026 OSAP funding will be added to Quest as anticipated aid throughout the Promissory Note period. - Ensure your course load matches
Your course load in Quest must match the course load on your OSAP application. If they do not match, enrolment cannot be confirmed until the information is updated or until after the spring drop/add period. If needed, submit the OSAP Application Update Form to make changes to your application.
OSAP funding will be redirected to the University to pay any outstanding fees. We recommend regularly checking your account summary in Quest and arranging payment for any remaining balance after OSAP funding has been applied.
