As October ushers in a time of reflection and giving, consider extending your gratitude and support to your colleagues through a meaningful gesture in support of United Way. This October, sending a “Token of Appreciation” to your co-workers not only acknowledges their contributions but also empowers a collective spirit of compassion and community.

Inspired by a recipe collection created in 1982 to celebrate the University of Waterloo’s 25th anniversary, Library staff have pulled together their favourite recipes for an updated collection! For a suggested donation of $5 you’ll receive a digital copy of the collection. You can make your donation here, and you’ll get the pdf via email.

Burst a Balloon Fundraiser for the United Way

Where: Arts Undergrad Office in PAS 2439

When: Runs October 17th until October 27th from 10am – 3pm

$5 White Balloon – guaranteed $10-$15 gift card from local restaurant/food store

$10 Red Balloon – guaranteed $20, $25, $30, or $50 gift card from local restaurant/food store Pay to POP as many as you want – over 300 balloons available!

Come to Engineering 6, first floor lobby on October 26th for a plant sale! The event will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. All proceeds will beneft United Way Waterloo Region Communities.
