We are pleased to congratulate one of our Ph.D. students on a recent scholarship achievement!

Alireza Mohamadizadeh was selected to receive the 2019/2020 Toyota Canada Automotive Safety Graduate Scholarship, valued at $10,000 for a doctoral student. The selection was based on excellent academic standing and outstanding performance in automotive safety research, specifically in the area of lightweight structures and crashworthiness. Alireza is co-supervised by Professor Elliot Biro of the Centre for Advanced Materials Joining (CAMJ) and Professor Michael Worswick of the Forming and Crash Lab.

More information on the scholarship can be found here.

Congratulations Alireza! We wish you continued success in your program.
