Tip of the month: New exceptions field on courses proposal form

A field was recently added to the courses proposal form in Kuali Curriculum Management: Exceptions to Fees or Academic Progress Units, under the Course Information section.

To complete this field, determine if the course has an exception to the typical fee charged, or if the course should not count towards academic progress. Select Yes if the course has an exception, select No if there are no exceptions.

Selecting Yes will prompt the Office of the Registrar or Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs to follow up with the unit – after the proposal has been approved – to confirm the details of the exception to code it properly in Quest.
