Co-existing with Invasive Wetland Plants
The European Common Reed, one of many invasive plants, threatens how wetlands function, their biodiversity and 25% of all species at risk in Ontario. Dr. Rebecca Rooney, associate professor in the University of Waterloo Biology Department, discusses approaches to either restore native marshes or improve their ability to thrive.
