Molecular Biology Core Facility
Overview
This facility, supervised by Dr. Andrew C. Doxey, provides state-of-the-art imaging and analysis equipment for students and faculty to use in their research. These items are usually not available in individual laboratories, so their presence in a shared facility enhances the graduate experience for our students. In addition, the molecular core facility has a set of basic molecular biology equipment that is universally available so that students who are not in molecular biology oriented labs who might need such equipment for a small part of their project have access to what they need.
