This microscopy facility provides users with the opportunity to prepare and image their own samples. The EM/Confocal Specialist will provide technical support to new users, faculty, graduate students, and staff, for specimen preparation and will provide comprehensive training to operate the microscopes. Users have access to as much technical support as necessary while working independently to complete their project. The Confocal microscope is a Biology/Optometry shared resource. The facility is available to all members of the university community for teaching and/or research.
