The class of CIVE230 (Engineering and Sustainable Development) have been trailblazers in this remote learning environment in the Spring 2020 term. Learning about sustainability requires systems-thinking and a curiosity to explore. In the COVID-19 edition of the course, there were many chances to create new learning opportunities not only from the course content, but also from the world around us, the media and news, and from each other.
In a worldwide race to find solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic, Waterloo Engineering professors and alumni are working on engineering a variety of unique solutions. Join us for this virtual webinar to learn about vaccine development and the complexities involved, portable and rapid diagnostic testing, and innovative ways of using imaging for screening and diagnosis.
