Graduate Workshop: Methods of Asia Minor Studies

Following the guest lecture of Dr. Patrick Baker, Laval University, on Thurs. 12 March (4-5:30, EV3-4412), a small graduate workshop will also be held titled “Methods of Asia Minor Studies”, which is scheduled to take place on Fri., 13 March (9:30-12:30, ML 245 = German Reading Room). Dr. Baker, Dr. Coskun, and Dr. Hardiman will be presenting a variety of source materials from Hellenistic and early Roman Asia Minor.

Public Lecture: Dr. Altay Coşkun - Ancient Anatolia

Dr. Altay Coşkun will be giving a public lecture titled Ancient Anatolia: The Cradle of Civilization and the Crossroads of Empires - An Overview from the Neolithic Period to the Later Roman Empire. The lecture is sponsored by the International Dialogue Institute and will take place Wednesday, November 12 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in Conrad Grebel College's Community Education Room. Guest Lecture: Dr. Victoria Wohl

The Classical Association of Canada, University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University are proud to present a lecture by Dr. Victoria Wohl from the University of Toronto. The lecture is titled Affective Leadership: Political Judgement and the Emotions in Classical Athens. It will be held on Friday, October 10 from 4:00-5:30 in AL 105.
