The Department of Classical Studies is proud to present a lecture by Sara Ennis, PhD Candidate in Literature and Linguistics, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina.  The title of the lecture is "Knowledge and Remembrance: Narrating Memory from  the Norman Conquest to Modern  Argentina".

The Department of Classical Studies is proud to present a lecture by Dr. Rob Tordoff from York University. The lecture is titled The Flaying at the Olive Tree: Problems in the Representation of Slavery in Aristophanes. It will be held Thursday, February 12 from 11:30-1:00 in RCH 206.

Dr. Altay Coşkun will be giving a public lecture titled Ancient Anatolia: The Cradle of Civilization and the Crossroads of Empires - An Overview from the Neolithic Period to the Later Roman Empire. The lecture is sponsored by the International Dialogue Institute and will take place Wednesday, November 12 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in Conrad Grebel College's Community Education Room. Professor Sheila Ager will be giving a lecture titled Cleopatra: The Original Femme Fatale as part of THEMUSEUM's The Egyptian Dialogues series. Dr. Ager's lecture will be held on Sunday November 16 at 1:30.

The Classical Association of Canada, University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University are proud to present a lecture by Dr. Victoria Wohl from the University of Toronto.
